The guy has come with a rocker of a filmNaan Mahaan Alla
There is something new about the story telling and packaging which makes it interesting along with a power packed performance by Karthi, who carries the film to its winning point. It is perfect team work of Suseenthiran, Karthi, promising set of newcomers, dialogue writer Baskar Sakthi, Yuvan, Rajeevan and Anal Arasu, which makes the film engrossing and racy.
The director has neatly worked out the script, as first half is for characterisation and the second half the audience roots for the hero, which makes the climax believable. The film begins with four pot smoking college students, molesting and murdering a girl on a lonely beach.
Cut to hero introduction scene, as Jeeva (Karthi) is shown celebrating wildly New Year with his friends. He is a nice guy who will do anything for his friends and family consisting of his father (Jayaprakash) a call taxi driver, mother (Lakshmi) and a sister. He has a way with neighbours, kids and people in the low income colony where he lives, and they all adore him.
One day at a friend’s wedding he meets a girl Pooja (Kajal Aggarwal), with whom he strikes an instant rapport which develops into love. Jeeva being a straightforward, no nonsense guy barges into her house and asks her father, a criminal lawyer for her hand, which leads to trouble. Meanwhile Jeeva’s life gets more complicated as his father gets murdered, by the same gang seen in the beginning of the film. Life changes for Jeeva, as he goes in search of his father’s killers, leading to a stunning climax on a lonely beach.
What an impact Karthi makes in his fourth film. He nails the character to perfection and does everything a super hero does in Tamil films without making it look larger-than-life on screen. He is one good reason to see the film. Jayaprakash is growing in stature in character roles, and here as father he is simply too good, the bonding scenes between him and Karthi are fantastic.
Kajal Aggarwal and Karthi’s on screen chemistry crackles and she is charming though her role is limited. The casting of unknown newcomers especially the four mean and diabolic guys who knows no fear and the chap who plays the Royapuram dada is apt. The film has no separate comedy track or comedians. Still Karthi brings the house down with some good comedy especially the scenes in which he turns as a bill collection agent and the scene where Priya’s father invites him to a bar to actually give him a warning.
Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music (Irgai Pole is the pick) and background score is spellbinding. Rajeevan’s sets of lower income group flats, houses destroyed by Tsunami on the beaches where climax takes place, makes the background look so real. Anal Arasu’s climax action choreography keeps the adrenaline pumping.

Brad Pitt, as with the other actors, kinda share the role of main character; it’s like everyone gets a fair amount of screen time. Again, another nice change from Hollywood. This is nothing like the no-story bomb of GIJOE.
There’s language, violence, true wicked violence and some scenes that are like damn that’s hard. There’s comedy, where your asking your self ‘oh my God he’s crazy’ and the other points where your asking your self how’s that going to play out, and wow, I can’t believe that happened!
, Inglorious Bastards, with its re-imagining of the end of World War II is pure Tarentino: style as substance. Inglorious Bastards is more concerned with the fun of vengeance than saying anything that we haven’t already seen in other war films.
like his earlier movies like PULP FICTION and KILL BILL this movie is also a wonderful craft potrayed by
Quentin Tarantino.as a director and the script writer this man had done a tremendous job .

sachin tendulkar
“I have never seen Bradman but heard people talk about him. But I tell you what, if Bradman could bat like this man does then he was dynamite. Players like Sachin deserve to be preserved in cotton wool.” Famous quote from the Bengal tiger Saurov Ganguly. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, generally known as Sachin Tendulkar is an Indian Cricket player who is considered to be one of the all time greatest batsmen to have ever played the game of Cricket. The renowned Cricket magazine Wisden ranked Sachin Tendulkar the 2nd all time greatest Test Cricket batsman, only after Sir Donald Bradman at the 1st place in the year 2002. Also, the magazine ranked him the 2nd all time greatest ODI batsman after Viv Richards at the first spot. No matter what the rankings and all whenever India opts to bat we often sat in front of the TV for this maestro to lead India with his awesome blade. We can’t compare this man to any one because he is the god of cricket .While watching a cricket match there will be people saying or people keeping the posters with the sayings like “if cricket is a religion then Sachin is the god”.
Sachin Tendulkar was born on 24th of April, 1973 in Mumbai to a Marathi Novelist, Ramesh Tendulkar. Sachin got inspired to play cricket from his elder brother Ajit, and started playing the game at an early age in his school, Sharadashram Vidya Mandir. Under the guidance of his coach, Ramakant Achrekar, he learnt the basics of the game and showed his passion to cricket along with his school mate and another future batsman of the Indian team, Vinod Kambli. He do have a passion in tennis also. Nick Name: The Master Blaster, the Little Champion, the Bombay Bomber. He made his test debut at Karachi against Pakistan in 1989/90. The interesting fact is that he made his ODI debut was also against Pakistan at Gujranwala. Often his batting style is right hand batman and his bowling style is like right arm off break, leg break , right arm medium ., leg break googly. He holds several batting records, including the most Test centuries and the most one-day international centuries, also the first man on the planet to reach a milestone of scoring the highest individual runs also the double hundred in a one day international match .He received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, India’s highest sporting honour, for 1997-1998, and the civilian award Padma Shri in 1999. Tendulkar was a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1997. Early days Born in Mumbai (then Bombay) into a middle-class family. Sachin Tendulkar was named after his family’s favorite music director Sachin Dev Burman. He went to Sharadashram Vidyamandir School where he started his cricketing career under Coach Ramakant Achrekar.
While at school, he was involved in a mammoth 664 run partnership in a Harris Shield game with friend and team mate Vinod Kambli. In 1988/1989, he scored 100 not-out in his first first-class match, for Bombay against Gujarat. At 15 years and 232 days he was the youngest to score a century on debut. Sachin played his first international match against Pakistan in Karachi in 1989, facing the likes of Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Abdul Qadir, and Waqar Younis. He made just 15 runs, being bowled by Waqar Younis, who also made his debut in that match. It was an inauspicious start, but Tendulkar followed it up with his maiden Test fifty a few days later at Faisalabad. His One-day International (ODI) debut on December 18 was equally disappointing, where he was dismissed without scoring a run, again by Waqar Younis. The series was followed by a non-descript tour of New Zealand in which he fell for 88 in a Test match, John Wright, who would later coach India, pouching the catch that prevented Tendulkar from becoming the youngest centurion in Test cricket. The long anticipated maiden Test century came in England’s tour in 1990 but the other scores were not remarkable. Tendulkar truly came into his own in the 1991-1992 tour of Australia that included a brilliant century on the fast and bouncy track at Perth. He has been Man of the Match 11 times in Test matches and Man of the Series twice, both times in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. His first ODI century came on September 9, 1994 against Australia in Sri Lanka at Colombo. It had taken Tendulkar 79 ODIs to score a century. Sachin Tendulkar is the only player to score a century while making his Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Irani Trophy debut.
People want to know everything about Sachin Tendulkar and his family, including his kids and Sachin Tendulkar wife. Sachin Tendulkar wife name is Anjali Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar wife is a qualified doctor and practices whenever she gets time to practice. The interesting thing is that his wife is elder than the batting wizard.Sachin’s father Ramesh Tendulkar was a Marathi novelist and was a great fan of Sachin Dev Burman. Sachin’s name comes after the legendary singer and composer.sachin Tendulkar do have a strong attachment with his family especially with his father. We all are familiar about the world cup in which his father sad demise made him to stay back from the squad .after all funerals and all he returned to the squad with a blasting century. At that point of time all in the world was aware of the fact that he is not enjoying that century, but just he is dedicating that wonderful century to his lovely father. After that whenever he scores a half century or a century he will look at the sky and pray to his father. That’s quite emotional while seeing that.
Sachin Tendulkar and his family include:
Father: Ramesh Tendulkar
Mother: Rajni Tendulkar
Brother: Ajit and Nitin
Sister: Savitai
Wife: Dr. Anjali
Son: Arjun
Daughter: Sara
Immensely gifted and blessed with an impeccable technique, Tendulkar's batting is a dream, combining timing, elegance and power. Mentally very strong, Tendulkar is best when confronted by a challenge - as he showed when mowing down Shane Warne in India in 1998. Captain during two short stints, Tendulkar has made it clear that he would prefer to concentrate on his batting and indeed, he seems to be getting better with every passing year. Scoring two double centuries in successive seasons and being the first to cross the 10,000 run barrier in ODIs is clear proof of this.
While his batting ranks him among the best in the world, he is also a part-time bowler and has played a crucial role as a leg spinner or a medium pace bowler who tends to break partnerships. He has more than a hundred wickets in ODIs and 35 in tests, though his bowling averages are above 40. He continues to perform well under the massive weight of expectation of hundreds of millions of cricket followers, in India and around the world, and most recently was named Player of the Tournament in the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Incidentally, Sachin is the first batsman to be declared run out by third umpire in 1992 in South Africa.
“ I hate losing and cricket being my first love, once I enter the ground it's a different zone altogether and that hunger for winning is always there” said by the legend Sachin is always a leading light for the youngsters. Sachin Tendulkar has become the first-ever batsman to score 200 in an ODI (one-day international) against South Africa. Sachin's score officially makes him the Michael Jordan of cricket after the India vs. RSA match.
The former highest-scoring batsmen were Zimbabwe's Charles Coventry with 194 not out in a one-day match, and Pakistan's Saeed Anwar with 194.
Current ODI batting records:
• 200 not out: Sachin Tendulkar, India
• 194 not out: Charles Coventry, Zimbabwe
• 194: Saeed Anwar, Pakistan
• 189 not out: Viv Richards, West Indies
• 189: Sanath Jayasuriya, Sri Lanka
• 188 not out: Gary Kirsten, South Africa
It is the fifth international hundred of the year for Tendulkar, to go with four hundreds in Tests against South Africa and Bangladesh. He now has 93 hundreds in international cricket. His previous best in one-day internationals was 186 against New Zealand in 1999. His batting style is tremendous especially his shot of a short pitch ball that we seen during the newzeland series.
Let’s see some of his ODI records:
• Played more matches than any other cricketer
• Most Man of the Match (50) awards
• Appeared on the most grounds (89 different grounds)
• Most runs (14,146)
• Most centuries (39)

• Only player to have over 100 innings of 50+ runs as of February, 2006

• Holds the record for scoring 1,000 ODI runs in a calendar year. He has done it six times - 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2003.
• In 1998 he made 1,894 ODI runs, still the record for ODI runs by any batsman in any given calendar year.
• In 1998 he hit 9 ODI centuries, the highest by any player in an year.
• World Cup
• Most runs (1732 at an average of 59.72) in World Cup Cricket History.
• Player of the Tournament in the 2003 Cricket World Cup.
• 673 runs in 2003 World Cup, highest by any one in a single Cricket World Cup.
He played about 169 tests and it’s a record also for playing the most number of tests. He scored about 13837 runs in test and it’s an incredible figure to watch out. His highest score in test is 248* and he averages about 56.02. He scored about 48 hundreds and 56 fifties. He scored about 57 sixes in all these test matches. That’s too incredible.
Let’s see his ODI status: played about 442 ODIs and in these he scored up to about 17598 runs that too the most incredible figure that the cricket history has ever seen. Scored about 46 hundreds and 93 fifties this man again and again proving as the gem stone for India.
He played about 272 first class innings and scored about 22730 runs at an average about 59.34 and owns a highest score of about 248*.
In 2007 Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne names him at Number 1 on his list of 50 greatest cricketers ever. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown suggests Sachin should be conferred with an honorary knighthood for his contribution to international cricket. Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for scoring 1,000 ODI runs in a calendar year. He has done it six times - 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2003.In 1998 he made 1,894 ODI runs, still the record for ODI runs by any batsman in any given calendar year. In 1998 he hit 9 ODI centuries, the highest by any player in an year. Most runs (1732 at an average of 59.72) in World Cup Cricket History. Player of the Tournament in the 2003 Cricket World Cup. He scored about 673 runs in 2003 World Cup, highest by any one in a single Cricket World Cup.
Apart from all these busy schedules and all the busy innings this man is too incredible to the society also. When Sachin joins the social network called TWITTER he now holds the most number of followers by an Indian. But the major difference between Sachin and other celebrities is he utilizes this social network to someone who is incapable of seeking help. That’s what we saw Sachin requesting his followers to donate to the welfare of cancer patients. And finally we saw in the news and newspapers that about lakhs of rupees been collected for the welfare through this. He took the initiative for the treatment of his childhood friend. I must say that he is a complete man or a complete individual. When an individual is accepted socially, professionally and personally then he becomes a complete man. His temperament to cricket is awesome and incredible.
Tendulkar has shown some of his best batting performances against the Cricket team of Australia, one of the strongest teams during his period. As a matter of fact, the legendary Sir Donald Bradman had at one time reportedly told her wife that the playing style of Sachin reminded him of his own game in his youth.
Sachin has always created new records and destroyed innumerable of them that had been already established. At the age of 17 years he scored his first Test century, and by the age of 25 he had scored 16 of them. At the moment he is the Cricketer with largest number of Test and ODI centuries to his credit, and outclassed Brian Lara as the biggest Test scorer in the year 2008.
“ I always had a dream to play for India but I never let it put pressure on me” as Sachin says ,we must admire his character his passion to reach his goal, his commitment ,his dedication and all is totally incredible and this feature makes him differ from any other players in the history of cricket. Lot of young talented players are coming to the Indian squad day by day and the interesting fact is that when ever these youngsters becomes a hero and start giving interview they usually say about the lessons taught by the most senior man in the dressing room . At this age also he is a genuine athlete in the field and if he retires from the Indian squad then am sure, when ever India starts to play without him all the televisions must be off and we won’t bother to see the match ball by ball. The importance of this little master is huge in all generations. That much impact he has made to the field of cricket.

Cast : Leonardo Di Caprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy
Director: Christopher Nolan
Genre: Sci-fi thriller
The story goes like this. Cobb (DiCaprio) is a troubled genius who works as an extractor of confidential information from people’s minds while they are in their subconscious and dreaming stage. He has the ability to enter and read their minds while they are dreaming. Nothing seems impossible for Cobb except with his wife and children and battling with his inner demons.
Considering it as the only way to get back with his kids again, Cobb takes up a new assignment of ‘plugging’ an idea into a person’s mind instead of stealing it. This mission is however a difficult task even for experts like Cobb and his groupies as this involves studying the minutest details of their subject’s life and the people around him. Besides, during constructing a way to reach the subject’s dream within a dream and then within that dream, one cannot create a world based on his/her memories but just pure imagination. Plagued by his own memories Cobb finds it difficult to dream without the interference of his own past and thus ropes in young architect Ariadne (Juno fame Ellen Page) to do the needful. Initially , Ariadne joins hands with Cobb and as starts working closely with the genius and gets the hint of his personal crisis and its would-be hazardous effect on their assignment. Christopher Nolan forces his audiences to sit on the edge of their seats and ‘concentrate’ on what’s happening. You might not even blink once or dream of anything else but focus on solving the puzzle he so smartly creates. The special effects are ground-breaking. The scenes where Ariadne and Cobb enter the surreal world of dreams are superbly shot. Folding roads, people and streets turning upside down as they defy gravity gives you goosebumps. The climax where Cobb confronts his past is mind-blowing. The background score adds to the impact.
The technical aspect of this movie is comentable . Asfar as the stunt secene with out gravity is an example and it makes an astonishing moment in the theatre .One has to be more and more concentrated while watching this movie .Even you blink your eye for a while then it will be an utter mismatch for you by watching this movie .
Leonardo DiCaprio as the brooding man who needs help himself is supremely effective. His character and backgrounder bears an uncanny resemblance to his role in Shutter Island. Ellen Page holds her own even in front of a seasoned actor like Leo. Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobb’s right hand Arthur is stoic as needed. Cillian Murphy does his job well and Michael Caine does a guest appearance.

Cast: Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz
Director: James Mangold
Knight and Day, directed by James Mangold and starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz has all the elements of an enjoyable romantic thriller -- a sexy lead pair, a string of high-octane action scenes, and gorgeous international locations. Yet the film leaves you hungry for more.Followed by the series MISSION IMPOSSIBLE tom cruise once again potrayed the role of cia agent and this attitude to play the role of secret agents sometimes fells us boring ....
Cruise plays CIA agent Roy Miller, whose bosses no longer trust him. He's got a precious device they want -- a thumb-sized battery that can power a small city, and he's hidden the kid who invented it. Diaz plays regular gal June Havens who accidently meets Miller at an airport, and before she knows it finds herself flying all over the world with him trying to escape not one but two sets of adversaries desperate to get their hands on that coveted battery.
Cruise and Diaz are charming actors both, but the script of this film doesn't have enough of the breezy content that was required to turn this film into an engaging adventure movie like Romancing The Stone. There's a genuine comic pulse between the leads, but no sexual chemistry at all, making it hard to understand why her character would be willing to go along with him on this dangerous, whirlwind journey.
The lack of romantic energy, however, is made up for by a set of nifty stunts, including a thrilling car-chase sequence in which Cruise mostly leaps across the top of many cars,in another exciting set-piece Cruise and Diaz escape through a Spanish bullfight, and there's also a breathless scene in the pantry of a speeding train.
Of course we're not meant to take the plot of this film seriously, but Knight and Day doesn't even have enough flair to make this ridiculous premise fun. Just consider that early sequence in an airplane that Cruise must take charge of, after every other passenger including the pilot has been killed. There isn't a hint of tension, no nail-biting excitement as he struggles to land the flight in a cornfield.
Knight and Day is the kind of film they say you don't need to take your brains along for, and they couldn't be more right. Sad thing is, seems like Cruise and Diaz and the film's makers too didn't take their brains along while making it!
I cant say this movie as the worst one ,this movie offers osme fun during its plot and some times you willl be wondered by the locations . Cameron diaz has done some justice to her role and cruise also and the fact is tat we cant blame these two as the script is the boss of a movie.
If u are a real fan of cruise will surely enjoy this movie otherwise may seems to be stick at some point in this movie ..
rating 2.3/5
